I'm done moping and I picked a plan for the
Chicago Marathon. In three weeks, I'll gear up again to do 18 weeks of training to try and hit that elusive 3:30 mark for my 26.2 miles. The book
Advanced Marathoning by Pete Pfitzinger and Scott Douglas houses the plan. The plan tops out at 55 miles per week and gives me 2 days of rest. Should be fun. I used the
Jack Daniels "A" Plan for my previous two marathons and was ready for a change. Thanks to Kevin Stroud for the training advice and help in choosing a plan that would work for me.
